LinkedIn video is the next stage for B2B. DC-area firms should get on it early.

A major creator agency just bought a LinkedIn specialist. For consultants, contractors and nonprofits around Washington, that is a signal to start filming.

Creator marketing grew up on consumer apps. Now it is moving into business-to-business. Marketing Dive reported that Billion Dollar Boy Group bought an agency focused on LinkedIn, betting that B2B is creator marketing’s next big wave and aiming to push the company past $100 million in revenue.

The logic is simple. Before a buyer signs with a consultant, a contractor or a nonprofit partner, they look up the people. A short video of a founder explaining how they work builds more trust than a page of credentials.

Formats that work on LinkedIn

  • The 60-second expert take. One question your clients ask, answered plainly on camera.
  • The short interview episode. A 15 to 20 minute conversation with a client or partner, clipped into highlights.
  • The client story. A before-and-after told by the person who lived it.

Record a season in one sitting

Most executives don’t have time to film every week. The answer is to batch. In one session in CNM’s podcast studio and filming room, a leader can record several episodes and a stack of short takes. Our team edits them into posts that can run for weeks.

Germantown is within easy reach of Rockville, Gaithersburg, Frederick and the District, so a morning session fits around a normal workday.

What this means for you

  • Put a face and a voice to your firm where B2B buyers already spend time.
  • Turn one studio session into weeks of LinkedIn posts.
  • Start before your competitors make it the norm.
